AMD Athlon Neo Mv40 Driver

Recommendation: We highly recommend using a tool like DriverDoc [Download DriverDoc - Product by Solvusoft] if you are inexperienced in updating AMD Processor device drivers. This tool does all of the work for you by downloading and updating your MV-40 drivers automatically, preventing you from installing the wrong drivers for your operating system version.

It is possible to link Athlon Neo MV-40 errors to corrupt or obsolete system drivers. Drivers of computer hardware fail without any apparent reason. The good news is that Processor drivers can be updated to correct any problems.

Finding the exact driver for your Athlon Neo MV-40-related hardware device can be extremely difficult, even directly on the AMD or related manufacturer's website. While finding, downloading, and manually updating your Athlon Neo MV-40 drivers takes a lot of time, the process can also be confusing. This is problematic because installing the wrong or incompatible driver will potentially produce worse results.

It is generally advised to use a driver software as updates can be time consuming and complex. Driver maintenance services make sure that your drivers are up-to-date and that you have a backup of your current drivers before downloading new drivers. Maintaining a driver backup provides you with the security of knowing that you can rollback any driver to a previous version (if necessary).

Update: Having compared the X100e's Geekbench scores with other MV-40 systems, we suspected something was causing this machine to underperform. Sure enough, when we updated the existing BIOS (v1.04) to the latest available version (v1.10) and retested, the ThinkPad X100e scored a far healthier 1196. The stock BIOS had dragged down scores in all four of the performance categories Geekbench tests for; meanwhile battery performance has also increased slightly, up to 3.5hrs on average. The moral of the story is to make sure your computer is up to date with its drivers, as these can significantly affect performance. We've updated our conclusion accordingly.

I have the same model (x121e) and Ubuntu 11.10 works very well on it except this very annoying burp. But it seems to be the same under some other OS. It seems it is considered a BIOS bug. Except that, the support of 11.10 to this cute gadget is almost perfect. All the hardware is well supported. I did not have any problem with the WIFI in Ubuntu 11.10. I did not have to install any additional drivers manually. Had a bit problem with skype concerning the audio in/out.
