Basically, if you place your outfits and diagrams into storage, you can change the difficulty level without losing the Dark Outfits or plans used to make them (you can acquire the ingredients to make them after "failing" the side quest). Remember that once you change difficulties, the plans for the Dark gear vanishes from the shops (unless you bought the plans and put them in storage before exiting Dark mode).
Looking for an up-to-date list of The Witcher 3 cheats and console commands? "Evil is evil," opines Geralt during one of his many Ethics 101 lectures. "Lesser, greater, middling. It's all the same." So we can infer that he probably wouldn't think too much of us using all these The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt cheats and console commands to assume godlike powers of creation and destruction - but hey, if he starts complaining, we can just turn him into Ciri, who I'm sure is far less scrupulous about such things.
In order to make use of the dizzying array of The Witcher 3 console commands below, you'll first have to enable the console. But follow the below steps and you'll be done in seconds! After that, you can spend time perusing our definitive Witcher 3 cheats list in the table below. So let's get started!
Below is a comprehensive list of all console commands and cheats in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, along with a description of their function and how to use them. Be sure to use the search box at the top of the table to find a specific command!

I'm sure we've all been frustrated more than once due to a death in Witcher 3. Thankfully, console commands can make us invincible meaning you will not have to forgo the pain of death ever again (until you disable god mode). To follow this tutorial, you'll need to know how to enable the console (see our enabling console guide for help), and how to open the console (press or F2 on your keyboard).
There's been a lot of talk in recent years about games growing up, about ditching conventional mechanics in an effort to put the emphasis on telling a more mature story. Enter The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings. It's a fantastic RPG that's carries with it a decidedly adult tone. Even so, it never forgets its roots and combines the best of modern RPGs and those that came before, proving that there's no need to change what works. The Witcher 2 is a gorgeous and rewarding labor of love that you'll want to play over and over.
Using the trainer, you'll have the ability to add unlimited vitality and vigor - making for an almost god mode like effect. You can also instantly add Orens, the game's currency. By far though, my favorite cheat in the trainer is the ability to double your capacity. I absolutely hated having to choose between two awesome weapons.
God Mode is a difficulty option that can be toggled at any time from the menu on a non-Hell Mode file. God Mode grants 20% damage resistance, increasing by 2% each time a run ends in death (rather than escape). The damage resistance caps at 80%. This mode was added to make the game more accessible, as well as to give players a way to experience the story of Hades more quickly if they wish.[1]
This mode may be turned on and off via the options menu at any point without consequence. When turned off, the player will lose the damage resistance, but retain any percentage gained until God Mode is turned on again. Using God Mode will not lock players out of Achievements or content. However, God Mode run records are stored separately from non-God Mode runs.
Dark Mode is a new difficulty level which was introduced with Patch 2.0 for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. It is described as similar in difficulty to the "Insane" mode while allowing the player to save their game. It also comes with three sets of special "Dark Mode" armor and weapons, listed below.
Under this setting, each and every foe represents a significant challenge. In addition to raising the difficulty bar, the mode includes several new sets of equipment/items that are linked through a dark legend detailed in the Journal.
Once all their components have been collected and donned, the Blasphemer's, Oathbreaker's and Kinslayer's outfits provide great advantages in combat. The swords included in the outfits strip opponents of Vitality while supplementing the witcher's. However, given that they are cursed, the swords provide no benefit and harm Geralt by sapping him of Vitality as long as the outfits to which they belong remain incomplete.
Do note that you will not be able to earn Trophies or Achievements during the session you have cheats activated. If you are a Trophies/Achievements hunter, be sure to manually save a game before activating a cheat code.
Note: Some of the cheats in the game will have requirements that will need to be met before they can be used. This seems to be so that people actually play the story of the game before trying out weird stuff.
